An exciting opportunity exists to join our marketing team as Brand Manager working across both our breakfast & snacks portfolio at Kellogg’s New Zealand.  If you’re currently an ABM or BM looking for that next step in your career – then this could be it!

We are a global powerhouse in cereals and snacks, making some of New Zealand’s favourite foods.  Our iconic brands include Nutri-Grain, Special K, Sultana Bran and Coco Pops, LCMs, Pringles, and Pop Tarts.  We continue to innovate and stay close to our customers to remain on top of the game! 
 
As Brand Manager, you will lead and own all elements of the Marketing Mix (equity, strategy, above and below the line activity) on iconic brands such as Special K, Pringles, and Pop Tarts.

You will be a part of our success by:

  • Input into strategic direction of your brands
  • Developing and executing annual brand plan
  • Driving the competitive positioning of brands with superior idea and execution
  • Responsibility for localising the consumer and brand communications, and implementation of local marketing plans, including TVCs and media plans
  • Working in collaboration with the Innovation Managers to commercialise innovation and lead the product launch in market.
  • Lead the development and implementation of brand shopper marketing.
  • Managing budget for respective portfolio

 

We’re looking for someone with proven experience gained from a similar role in an FMCG environment.  You will have had exposure to brand strategy development, issue identification and strategy solutions.  With a strong commercial acumen & an analytical mindset you will have had previous experience with Aztec or Nielsen data to draw out insights to make well informed decisions that create cut through.  We are a small but mighty team in NZ and you will have the ability to work cross-functionally across the operation.  You will have strong written and verbal communication skills to confidently interact, influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.  We have a house of iconic brands, that you’ll know and love.  We take our work seriously but ourselves not so much!
