Title:  Director of Human Resources


As a Director of Human Resources at Kellogg, you will support business growth and organizational transformation initiatives translating the Global IT and Global Business Services needs into a HR strategy and plan in the region.  You will be responsible to deploy and execute the Talent and organization agenda in partnership with the function and business leaders. In this role you will interact regularly with the Center of Excellence (COE), Functional GBS Leaders and Process Owners, HR Talent Team and partner with senior leaders across the KNA GBS organization and Kellogg’s broadly. 


With this exciting opportunity, you will partner with business leaders within the GBS team to help define and execute a comprehensive HR Plan to support short and long-term strategy.  Your primary focus will be driving the agenda around talent, organizational effectiveness within a transformation agenda, and culture with specific support of process owners and the KNA GBS leadership team.  This role has direct interaction at all levels of the organization – both with people leaders and individual contributors and provides you with the significant opportunity to drive high-impact work and outcomes at Kellogg.




  • Business Acumen:  You will steward the business change model providing guidance and compliance in every change phase with clear partnership with Global Business Services and Global IT Functional Leaders. You will take a proactive role in the development of the HR Priorities and lead the implementation of this, and other major changes as required within business and functional areas. You will drive business leadership teams, through the interpretation of these priorities turning them into real action plans.


  • Leadership: You will provide active leadership, in partnership with business leadership teams, on HR issues such as rewards, employee relations, ED&I, talent, performance, organization development/change, culture, leadership and learning and development. With your expertise you challenge, provoke and coach business leaders on how to engage employees and address people issues and build people capabilities effectively. This will drive raising the performance bar and builds a strong and rigorous development culture.


  • Partnership: You will provide strategic partnership to senior functional leaders. You will be providing advice to the VP´s and senior functional leaders on people matters and acts as a sounding board and coach. You will act as an active and influential player enabling the effective diagnosis of business issues, strategy and goals and then turning these into People Plans.


  • Diversity and Inclusion: With passion you will act as an ED&I Champion for Global Corporate Functions within Kellogg North America. Your understanding of the marketplace, competitive position, and our operational drivers for the business is key. You will be using people analytics, data, and trends both internal and external, to diagnose issues and recommend solutions.




  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Significant experience in Human Resources, including strategic business facing Human Resource consultation and program delivery – 9 years plus.
  • Demonstrates high level of proficiency in HR Functional Competencies: Business Acumen, People Analytics, ED&I excellence, Change Leadership, Talent Advocacy, Total Rewards Stewardship, and Labor and Employee Management.
  • Leadership and Communication skills are a MUST! Able to collaborate and build trust, relationships, and effective networks. Listens and communicates effectively.
  • Change agents – ability to respond positively to change and energizes others to embrace the change.
  • Previous experience in a large matrix organization.
