Title:  IT Operations Analyst - Incident Response

We have an opening for you to grow with us as an IT Security Operations Analyst. This critical role will be within the Security and Risk Management organization.




  • Contributing to global incident response investigations across all Kellogg regions
  • Perform Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) monitoring and tuning
  • Participating in proactive threat hunting and the remediation of security vulnerabilities
  • Contributing to global risk metrics and key performance indicators to assess the overall effectiveness of the global threat response program and identify improvement opportunities
  • Contributing to the review of new trends and proposing changes that will enhance the overall security posture; including the definition of new incident response and forensic tool requirements
  • Upholding the highest level of confidentiality
  • Serving as the escalation point for the Level 1 SOC
  • Collecting and preparing security information and event metrics




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or MIS or HS Diploma and Relevant professional information security/technology certification(s) including but not limited to GCIH, GIAC, CEH, CISSP, CCNA, OSCP, CISSP
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of endpoint security tools (Anti-Virus, Endpoint Detection and Response, or Data Loss Prevention technologies)
  • Understanding of the current threat landscape and various security vulnerabilities and attack methods
  • Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of digital forensic techniques and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, communicate, and resolve cybersecurity events
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and provide off-hours support
