Title:  Lead, Facilities Engineer

Description: 

As a technical expert in facility systems for the Kellogg North America (KNA) region you will provide scope definition on all KNA projects according to global standards.  You will serve as a critical resource for facility infrastructure investment, planning, execution, and troubleshooting following global programs.  This includes but is not limited to roofs, floors, structural loadings, walls, ceilings, pavement, fire protection systems, etc. Bonus points for food manufacturing or equivalent hygienic design industry experience. Relocation being offered.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Own facility scope definition on all KNA projects according to global standards
  • Provides local to global connection for facility program deployment, gap closure, and execution
  • Maintains relationships with 3rd party Engineering Service Providers (ESPs)
  • Supports KNA facility managers with troubleshooting and root cause analysis as well as training/building capability in facility systems to plant facility managers
  • Maintains regional view of projects to provide strategic reapplication of solutions

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor degree in civil/structural engineering or equivalent 5+ year experience in engineering or manufacturing
  • Excellent knowledge of Supply Chain operations and engineering
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally with many different stakeholders and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experienced in budgets to plan effectively, proactively solves problems, identifies and shares opportunities and issues
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
