Title:  Manager, Sales Support & Operations

Description: 

As a Manager, Sales Support and Operations, (location remote) you will develop and manage Kellogg Company’s programs, services and tools for the Field Sales Organization.  You’ll work closely with key customers across business units ranging in level from top Executives to Field Sales Employees and other functions, demonstrating your high capacity for collaboration. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Support & Operations, you’ll lead the charge on ensuring programs are executed and managed in a timely, cost-effective manner.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

 

  • Best Practice Development – Lead the creation and delivery of various communications via an omni-channel approach i.e. email, Yammer… for field sales employees regarding various policies and procedures, and other miscellaneous communication relating to fleet events.  You’ll also identify appropriate measurements and develop comprehensive reporting to evaluate program effectiveness. Our future will be shaped by you!
  • Collaborating for Success – Collaborating cross-functionally you will develop relations and partnerships with various teams such as: HR, Safety, Legal, Finance, Corporate Services and Procurement to name a few.  With a knack for tracking all the details, you’ll manage first-party data onboarding between Kellogg Company and our agencies, as well as manage relationships with external vendors.
  • Project Management – Executing projects, budgets, order replacement and other activities in a timely manner you, will provide critical support to the Sales team.   With an eye for key standards, you’ll assure compliance with all policies and guidelines while engaging in key governance activities.

Required:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate technology skills such as Microsoft Office Applications, Internet, SAP E1P
  • Learning agility
  • Strong problem solving, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated use of excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines, specific time constraints and conflicting priorities. Must be able to prioritize projects within heavy workload period
  • Strong organizational, presentation and written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Analytical skills: the ability to interpret data and market research and bring forward insights-based solution
  • The ability to work with many people at varied levels of experience and authority
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, a servant mindset and a passion for winning 

 

Bonus Points:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
  • Anaplan Kellogg’s budget tool experience
  • Knowledge of Sales work processes strongly desired
