Title:  Packaging Continuous Improvement Manager

Description: 

As a Packaging Continuous Improvement Manager you will drive site initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and deliver cost savings through building capability in Kellogg Work Systems (KWS) methodologies, systems and tools. KWS methodologies will include but are not limited to: safety of people and food, product quality, leadership and service the business, sources of loss, unit cost, and employee methods and performance. Relocation being offered.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Deploy KWS strategic methodologies, systems, and tools, such as Autonomous Maintenance, Reliability Maintenance, Problem Solving, Green Belt/Black Belt Project, Process Mapping, etc. to deliver site OEE and cost savings goals.
  • Provide tracking and regular communication to various plant functions and teams regarding Manufacturing Reliability progress
  • Integrate system health and project monitoring into current KWS structure and meetings to ensure sustainability of improvements
  • Through data analysis identify and troubleshoot chronic and sporadic losses.  Drive losses to zero using SPC, Six Sigma and other KWS principles
  • Support plant implementation of Autonomous Maintenance and Routine Maintenance by coaching supervisors/ managers to ensure their capability to lead work teams.

 

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelors degree
  • Must have experience leading continuous improvement projects (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, KWS, IWS, HPO) 
  • Utilize packaging expertise & lead autonomous maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence.
