As a Packaging Engineer in Value & Technology on Kellogg Company’s North American team, your focus will be on end to end value creation across categories.  You will develop and commercialize new packaging solutions across a wide range of product and package forms.   • Driving Value Creation – In the form of bottom line savings, ESG enablement and technology development.  Use your innovative thinking skills to create, transform and execute packaging projects across existing products with focus on bottom line growth. You’ll be leading in the discovery, evaluation and advancement of new packaging designs and technologies.
  • Network and Technology Support – Support our supply chain through leadership of key value creation opportunities that require enablement by a packaging engineer. Leverage your technical skills to improve margin and deliver business results.  We’ll look to you to support our business end to end in your area of expertise!
  • Leading with a Consumer Focus – Demonstrate technical and business leadership within cross-functional teams while supporting the company philosophy and direction. Engage with internal customers and consumers in the evaluation of packaging concepts and prototypes. At Kellogg Company, our consumers are at the heart of what we do. YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 

  • Your technical depth and breadth within the packaging discipline will stand out here!
  • Bachelor of science degree in packaging, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or another related technical field
  • Clear understanding of packaging design, materials, equipment and systems
  • Experience leading and managing projects and project teams
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to a wide range of individuals and audiences with different knowledge levels.
