Title:  Materials Requirements Planning Coordinator

Description: 

Come join our team in an MRP Coordinator role in our Belleville, Ontario, facility!   As an MRP Coordinator, you will use your strong problem-solving skills to help our plant forecast, coordinate and analyze inventory to support our production – those Loops, Pops and Mini-Wheats cerealcan’t be made without you.   Come be a part of a team that shares a can-do attitude and willingness to get the job done.  To be successful in this role, you could certainly use two scoops of communication skills and a bowl full of detail while preparing some of the world's most favorite products for shipment. You will also collaborate with many diverse people.

  
 

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 
 

  • Analytical skillsyou’ll analyze and interpret short and long-term forecast requirements utilizing the production schedule. 
  • The go-to person -  We know you are someone who likes to be that “go-to” person, so in this role, you’ll be responsible for contacting the appropriate suppliers, being the liaison for the plant and vendors along with overseeing all material ordering.Never leaving unfinished business or communication to chance you ensure the details are accurate and communicate proactively.
  • Detailed and dedicated –  Conduct search to locate products within the system, as necessary, adjust receipts when there are discrepancies between the actual product and records, and ensure corrective measures to prevent discrepancies, by providing work process training to others.
  • Communication is keyyour knack for communicating with teammates is exactly what we need, you’ll be working with cross-functional teams to make sure our material inventory is at the lowest dollar levels to meet scheduling requirements and audits. 

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS 

 

  • High School diploma/GED and frequently demonstrated experience in materials management or procurement in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel 
  • Ability to effectively communicate, problem-solve and manage complex situations.
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.  
  • Excellent customer service/vendor relations skills 
  • Owner Mindset 
  • Experience with manufacturing scheduling and inventory location systems 
  • Experience using SAP.
  • Demonstrated MRP experience.
