Title:  Warehouse Inventory Coordinator

Description: 

Come join our team in a Warehouse Inventory Coordinator role in our Belleville, Ontario, facility!  As an important part of the warehouse, shipping and receiving process, you'll help us ensure we have what we need, when we need it, to get our beloved products into stores around the country! With your can-do, go-getter, team-player work ethic, we are positive you will fit right in. To be successful in this role, you could certainly use two scoops of communication skills and a bowl full of detail while preparing some of the world's most favorite products for shipment. You will also collaborate with many diverse people.

 

 

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

 

  • Analytical skills – you’ll track, audit, analyze and interpret inventory levels to ensure production orders and shipping orders can be met.
  • Communicate - Work with suppliers on vendor pickups, coordinate with Production Scheduling and Logistics and inform foreign trade of materials crossing boarder, ensuring we have an adequate supply of trailers.
  • Check and Double Check – As inventory coordination becomes second nature to you, you will verify that all appropriate raw / packaging materials, finished goods are being received, tracked,  stored  and utilized in the correct order and ensure they are shipped to the correct destination with appropriate documentation.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail: You will conduct and lead cycle counts & physical inventory on a daily, weekly, and monthly,  basis aligned to SOX requirements then determine the root cause for inventory variances and take appropriate action to correct or adjust.
  • Time to be efficient and use your detail-oriented skills!
  • Daily Details are Key – Ensure accurate inventory of raw, WIP or finished goods DAILY, Ensuring alignment with production schedules today and several days into the future. Communication is key!
  • Setting the Pace - Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere to increase efficiencies. Working closely with the Operations Shift Supervisor, Quality Food Safety and Environmental Health & Safety personnel. 
  • Always Accountable Maintaining a strong safety focus while looking out for the well-being of fellow co-workers.  Delivering exceptional customer service by effective communication between co-workers and management. 
  • Making things Happen – You will engage in various responsibilities and be able to step in and fill warehouse operator skills when needed.
  • Learning On The Job – You will be responsible for learning systems as well as having a strong understanding of required audits, recall and hold procedures within the facility.

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds & perform other duties as assigned
  • Willingness and ability to work on weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
  • This position requires regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with Company policies.  Additionally, the ability to interact well with other employees and work overtime, as necessary, is required.
  • High School diploma/GED and demonstrated experience in materials management, warehouse, inventory management or procurement in a manufacturing setting. 
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel 
  • Detail and numerically oriented with the ability to effectively communicate, problem solve and manage complex situations 
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.  
  • Excellent customer service/vendor relations skills 
  • Owner Mindset
