Title:  Engineering Project Manager


As an Engineering Project Manager, you will inspire others as a manager of people and execute our capital projects within our Snacks plant, because – who doesn’t love Cheez-Its? We have been looking for someone like you as you are heavily involved in the day-to-day engineering and construction projects. Your keen ability to influence and plan will be what it takes to get the job done.

  • Lead and Plan – you’ll be leading our capital expense planning, forecasting, and tracking processes for the facility related to Cost, Schedule, Performance, People Safety and Food Safety targets. 
  • Building Teams - Interact with design engineering, construction contractors, and drawing management personnel [typically Engineering Service Providers (ESPs)] to improve overall capital execution performance and processes.
  • Internal and External Partners – you’ll leverage your people skills as you meet with internal and external customers including our Supply Chain and Engineering leadership, Process, and Packaging teams. External teams include Engineering and Construction Management Service Providers, Consulting Firms, Equipment Vendors, and Co-manufacturers – we hope you like collaboration! 
  • Financial Responsibility - Understand and apply Kellogg financial policies related to capital classification, asset set-up, capital guidelines and a few more. 




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Agricultural/Biosystems, Electrical or Civil Engineering 
  • Experience with direct supervision of contractors and construction activities
  • Experience defining and leading project execution under multiple contracting strategies 
  • Proficient in project management software applications
  • Demonstrated strong project fundamentals and work processes (cost / schedule tracking, change management, risk identification, options analysis, etc.)


Bonus Points:

  • Food manufacturing experience 
  • Packaging experience
