Title:  Maintenance Trainee - $2,500 Sign-on Bonus


Grow with us as a Maintenance Entry Level Mechanical Technician in one of our state-of-the-art facilities! Working as a fundamental member of the manufacturing organization, you will be a key partner to Operations, Quality Food Safety and Environmental Health and Safety personnel. We are looking for a passionate team player who loves solving problems and is eager to help shape a strong future for our company and their career.


Signing Bonus in the amount of $2500.00 within one year of the date of hire

  • Which is paid out as follows
    • $1250 at 30 days
    • $1250 at 90 days




  • Ensuring Performance Efficiency - Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and production floor in accordance with GMP's, plant policies, processes, and procedures.  Maintain a high sanitation level and monitor for cross-contamination. Working with Maintenance Planners to scope upcoming planned work
  • Conducting Preventative Maintenance - Assisting in performing repairs and rebuilds of machinery and subassemblies. Having technical knowledge of equipment to make adjustments and improvements as appropriate
  • Safety First - Complying with employee safety policies, GMP, OSHA Safety and Health rules as well as food safety policies and procedures. Monitor all safety rules and regulation; communicate any concerns or issues to the Shift Supervisor/Manager who will enforce.
  • Collaboration is key - Maintain a close working relationship with all assigned line personnel and Management Staff. Will assume additional responsibilities/duties as designated and/or assigned by Supervision





  • High school diploma or GED
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs. and complete repetitive tasks throughout the day
  • Willingness and ability to work on weekends (potentially consecutively), holidays, variable shifts (for example, lengths or days), and mandatory overtime
  • General knowledge of machinery maintenance and lubrication
  • Must be willing to attend vocational training classes as required


Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing
  • Experience with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Previous welding experience
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
