Title:  Director, Global Marketing Capability


As the Director, Global Marketing Capability, you will operate as a thought leader and champion of the Global Marketing Transformation and help transform Kellogg into a modern marketing powerhouse. You will be responsible for supporting the organizational design, capability building, and active upskilling of our Kellogg Marketers to most effectively grow our business and brands. This includes identifying the essential Marketing capabilities for driving growth, prioritizing those that will that need to be strengthened or built, and determining what changes in people, process, data, and technology will be needed to achieve capability goals to ensure we’re future readying the next generation of Kellogg Marketeers.

This role does take part of our Locate for Your Day Program, but is located in Chicago, IL.


  • Fresh thinking - Responsible for a data driven approach to assessing marketing capabilities, identifying gaps, priorities and working cross functionally to support the organizational acceleration of digital marketing capabilities and marketing organizational effectiveness
  • Set the Pace –Identify & launch new capabilities, sustain/maintain existing capabilities, and embed marketing excellence capability training programs into the organization
  • Owner’s mindset - Own the Marketing Excellence Community of practice with the Global Brands, Marketing and Advanced Analytics team, regional learning and development and commercial functions
  • Inspire and Evoke Curiosity -   Leverage our Global Marketing Leadership Forum to bring outside and inside marketing innovation to inspire and encourage experimentation at the speed of culture.  
  • Your insights and imagination - Develop plans to increase participation, engagement, and utilization of strategic industry partners like (eMarketer, GARM, WARC, MMA, WFA)
  • Collaboration - Partner with our Regions and Global Brand, Marketing & Advanced Analytics team to integrate new learnings, best practices and deploy playbooks globally


  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in brand building and digital marketing
  • Marketing learning and development background
  • 7-10+ years in brand building, marketing, digital marketing, experience planning, insights/analytics and/or agency
  • Understanding of modern marketing concepts with depth in digital marketing
