Title:  Senior Brand Marketing Manager- Ventures

As Sr. Brand Manager, you’ll be leading our Ventures team. A dedicated team built to create, incubate and scale new ideas and brands within our N&I Category. Today the focus is on JoyBol® and Leaf Jerky® but will ultimately become an engine for driving new and emerging brands within the portfolio. You will be responsible for driving performance by developing commercial plans, learning agendas, and new models that enable new brands to scale. As an independent, visionary leader this role operates as a General Manager of the business playing an active, hands-on role to develop a holistic strategy & executional framework. You have a Founder’s mindset, an entrepreneur’s spirit, and the marketing toolkit to pivot, shape, and refine winning ideas. Strong partnership with sales, category strategy, supply chain, finance insights, and finance is essential. 


This role reports to the VP, Marketing of our Natural & Insurgent category.



  • Deliver the Results - Developing brand strategies and new pipelines based on strong consumer, customer, and market landscape insights.  Setting a compelling vision for the future of JoyBol and Leaf Jerky via core health and white space expansion to drive accelerated growth.  Enrolling the organization and rallying multi-functional resources to deliver the plans
  • Strategic and Analytical.  Insights and data-driven.  Consumer-centric and naturally curious with a sense for solving problems that others may not realize exist and to push beyond the status quo.
  • Create the Future.  Shape a growth portfolio and ensure the long-term health of our brands and mine opportunities in core categories.
  • Making a Difference – Using your passion for our brands to make the world a healthier, happier place, one consumer at a time





  • Bachelor’s degree
    • Preferably in Marketing or related field
  • Strong knowledge of CPG brand marketing fundamentals.
  • Strong leadership & communication skills, both written and verbal plus the ability to perceive and present information both analytically and creatively to inspire at every level.
  • Nielsen/IRI/SPINs or similar market analysis database to drive business decisions and generate insights to understand consumer behavior
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and agency partners
  • Believe in the power of food to make a positive change in people and the world around us
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation, coaching, leadership, and people management skills
  • Strong strategic mindset that translates to business results
  • A track record of creative drive and a passion for nurturing great ideas that cut through the clutter to bring a fresh take to the market
  • Proven ability to work in matrix organization to deliver results
  • Significant FMCG marketing experience in brand and/or innovation
  • Strong knowledge of insights, ROI, RGM, P&L
