Title:  Payroll Specialist

Description: 

Grow with us as a Plant Payroll Specialist at our Cincinnati, OH plant—where we believe in your success.  You will support the daily operations of plant finance by supporting the Plant Controller in gathering inputs, generating basic financial analyses and reports, and assisting with payroll collection, processing, and review. While you are at it, you’ll be building your network and expertise in a thriving environment of professional development and teamwork. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Reviewing and processing payroll for hourly and salary employees
  • Performing local production execution including keying production data, generating variance reports, and understanding and explaining variances
  • Performing GR/IR activities including corresponding with plant personnel and vendors to resolve differences between received and invoiced amounts
  • Assisting in resolving GR/IR variances with plant personnel and vendors
  • Generating basic financial analyses and reports for management in conjunction with the processes for which the coordinator is responsible
  • Handling ad-hoc questions/issues/projects
  • Participating in functional or career development training to increase knowledge and skills

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

 

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED with related work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong MS Office Excel skills including experience with lookup functions
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Knowledge of Kronos and other financial planning systems (e.g., SAP)
