Our colleagues in the Procurement team are looking for a new Senior Category Manager.

As we’re putting our hearts and souls into the future of food we’ll be looking at you to show us how sourcing and negotiations are done and how we can reach high standards of quality within select global categories to achieve cost effective quality every time.




In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing the sourcing and negotiation strategy on select regional categories of expenditure in Ingredients, Packaging and Energy. While also leading regional sourcing activities for one or more categories of spend. The main goal is to manage inflation and achieve significant cost saving, whilst ensuring our fundamental supplier criteria of the quality of the material and service level are of the highest standards.

Serving as a strategic stakeholder with supplier organizations and in corporate functions to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans.

To achieve this you will be working closely with the procurement operations team to ensure they are empowered and enabled to effectively coordinate the daily interactions between suppliers and our manufacturing plants.

Working cross functionally within the supply chain organization and broader business to identify, validate and implement new and innovative ideas to protect or increase margin and/or support revenue growth. You will be responsible for structuring and launching regional RFIs/RFPs, planning and executing negotiation strategies and developing and presenting category strategies.

Contributing proactively with ideas, opinions and enthusiasm to the procurement function as we continuously monitor, review and enhance our ways of working to better serve our internal customers who every day manufacture our iconic brands for our consumers globally.




  • As a category manager in procurement, and as with all roles in our team, we value your technical and personal competencies and experiences equally, which you will have gained 3 -  5 years in procurement or a relatable role.


  • Within technical competencies, we would like to understand your experience in demonstrating the procurement process, negotiation, market analysis and strategy creation, procurement technology as well as supply chain, logistics and inventory generally.


  • Within personal competencies, and complementary with our K values and growth competencies, we would like to understand your experiences in demonstrating organisational awareness, self-management, leadership and people management, communication and relationship management.
