Title:  Senior Brand Manager Adult Initiatives


This role is a maternity cover on a 12 month FTC


This role will give you the opportunity to lead our Kellogg’s Brand Strategic Initiatives across Europe. Working as part of a diverse marketing team, this role will be responsible for delivering exceptional results on key transversal initiatives (e.g. Innovation, Renovation, ESG & Channel), plan development through brilliant execution and delivery of the European innovation Pipeline.  
In your role as Senior Brand Manager Adult Initiatives, you will Build the Future of our Adult Taste Brands (Crunchy Nut & Extra) ensuring to support the Core brand Teams to develop a brand leadership position and profitable future growth, through strategic Transversal Initiatives.



Brand Performance of Adult Brands  

Support delivery of NSV & net contribution commitments of the Adult Portfolio. Identify, diagnose and help solve brand-level performance issues. Lead innovation performance tracking and sufficiency.


Innovation Planning:

You will support in setting strategic direction for the Innovation Masterplan, taking input from markets, identifying key consumer insights and develop transversal initiatives (e.g. NPDs, product Renovation, Channel activities etc) to drive the future growth of the Adult Brands in Europe.
Key deliverables: clear 5Y strategy pipeline to ensure brand growth and drive profitability;  development and execution of Innovation & renovation projects, from idea creation and consumer validation to post launch; develop and implement Channel Initiatives (e.g. eComm, Discount and HFS acceleration) to support the core business; ESG initiatives (e.g. wellbeing, sustainable packaging initiatives, future of food projects) to drive sustainability agenda.


Brand Initiatives Expansion:

Ensuring communications and activation output on regional initiatives matches Business growth objectives of all European markets.


Internal Collaboration:

Leading a diverse group of individuals from insight & planning, category & shopper, finance, nutrition, R&D towards the successful development and execution of the innovation/renovation/channel and eComm plans.


Market Collaboration:

Exciting and engaging the markets through regular and proactive communication of the brand calendar (innovation, channel initiatives, ESG activation), building the cluster / CBU relationship through regular brand councils and regular ad hoc contact.

  • Educated to degree level / business school graduate, or equivalent, with marketing major preferred and 7-10 years classic blue chip FMCG marketing experience.
  • Marketing Experience proven track record developing consumer insight driven initiatives and plans
  • People Management experience
  • Financial and commercial acumen
  • A passion for our brands and the evolving consumer landscape, great influencing, project management skills and the ability to prioritise.
  • Ability to create excellent working relationships (both internal and external) and to influence in order to drive internal alignment e.g. cross functionally or with markets
  • A “can do” attitude
  • A positive outlook, channel your energy into finding opportunities and solutions even in times of difficulty
  • Fluency in English is essential, but a second or third European language would be advantageous, as would previous experience of working in a European environment.
  • Strong intercultural awareness and the ability to build and manage “long distance” relationships is essential.
