Commercial Initiatives Lead Cereal - Fixed Term Contract
- Strategic Innovation & Renovation:
Working with the Brand Initiatives team on Innovation & Renovation strategy, plans and delivery through the stage gates.
- Category Relevance:
Working cross functionally on our 3-year plan and ensuring our Innovation/Renovation plan delivers for the Category, Shopper & Kellogg.
- Commercial Robustness:
Providing the markets with a commercial foundation at the 1st stage gate and collaborating with the teams through the remaining stag gates, with a focus on delivering a realistic & sustainable PnL.
- Geographic Expansion:
Evaluating the data as well as engaging with Markets on Opportunity gaps from our existing European range as part of the Initiatives team
- Fact Based Story Telling:
Creating customer facing presentations that delivers on Retailer & Shopper priorities as we approach LRA & completion of these, post LRA.
- Category Vision Cereal:
Input into the overall European approach & ensure that the Cereal Category Vision and Drivers are at the foundation of our initiatives plan.
- AMPPS – Measure of Success:
Build and embed an AMPPS Dashboard on Initiatives that is in sync with our core business approach. Ensure that our initiatives key metrics for success are up to date & live in Tableau.
- Future On Trend Initiatives:
Work with S&I & Channel Teams to understand current & future category drivers and how we win with these
- Channel & Retailer:
Work with Channel Teams & markets to ensure our Category Initiatives considers and builds Channel Opps and delivers what matters to our Retailers.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- The ideal candidate should have 4+ years FMCG industry experience with minimum 2-4 years of sales or Marketing experience. Category management experience would be beneficial.
- Preferred Master Degree in Business or related fields. Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Previous experience within market sales reporting tools like IRI/Nielsen/Kantar or Tableau.
- Strong numerical, analytical, interpersonal/communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to partner with the business and functions on international basis.
- Financial acumen, ability to evaluate, interpret/translate financial impact, ROI and overall program performance.
- Demonstrated project management experience with expertise in managing multiple projects through competing and conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Customer facing experience or E2E Brand Management
- Multi-cultural sensitivity and ability to lead and apply excellence in execution thinking across multiple countries and functions for the purpose of driving alignment.
- Fluency in the English language is essential, ability to speak one or more additional European languages would be very beneficial.
- Verbal and written communication as well as strong negotiation and influence skills towards middle management, representation of the organization, advanced tact and diplomacy.
- Displays Courage and manages conflicting agendas through fact-based resolution of debates.
