Our colleagues in the Sales team are looking for an EU Hard Discount Manager.

In your role within Kellogg’s Europe Sales department, you will be supporting the International Account Manager in achieving the KPIs in our fastest growing channel.

 

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

On that purpose, your Key focus areas will be:

 

  • Support to deliver the targeted Kellogg's KPI's for Hard Discount in terms of Volume, NSV and GP
  • Leading the preparation for all international Hard Discount negotiations together with the Finance BP: from requesting local market data on SKU level, reviewing and processing the input to pulling together a European P&L and sharing the overall picture
  • Negotiate directly with International HD buyers
  • Close collaboration with local HD KAMs to ensure alignment on focus areas, opportunities and risks and identifying necessary actions
  • Performance tracking and analysis, from channel level drilled down to SKU level (key KPIs but also ROS, white spaces etc)
  • Ensure all aspects of administration and stewardship internally and with the customer are accurate and timely
  • Full responsibility for technical data sheets process internally and externally
  • Provide assistance on an ad hoc basis for specific local issues and opportunities and suggesting (corrective) actions

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 

  • The ideal candidate should have experience within the FMCG industry experience in a commercial, preferably customer facing role, additional experience in RGM and/or Finance is considered an advantage
  • Preferred Master’s Degree in Business or related fields. Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills are critical to the role
  • Financial acumen, be able to analyse and interpret vast amounts of data to drive revenue and market share, experience of managing or working on a P&L
  • Effectively engage and influence both internally (multiple functions and Senior leaders) as well as externally (customers)
  • Strong sense of customer focus and service orientation
  • Confident in working in complex Matrix organizations, with a clear Make it Happen attitude
  • Ability to handle AC Nielsen, IRI, and GFK data.
  • Fluency in the English language is essential, ability to speak one or more additional European languages would be very beneficial, ideally German.
