Title:  Account Executive, Regional Accounts - Vending

Description: 

Advance your career as an Account Executive, Regional Accounts - Vending (Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX). You will be responsible for the achievement of territory sales budget to positively impact the region performance. You will also develop and execute a sales plan that achieves territory budget by optimizing core item placements, innovation, promotional programs, and trade Return on Investment.   • Lead Sales Efforts - You'll execute sales strategies and territory plans that maximize the sale of current Kellogg portfolio base businesses and deliver an on-going commitment to expanding distribution of core items and new item introductions to vend operators and vend product distributors.  If this brings out the tiger in you…read on!
  • Make A Whole Lotta Strategic Decisions - You'll consider immediate and long-term implications, benefits, costs and risks associated with alternatives to create, implement and monitor the success of a business plan.  Our success is shaped by you. 
  • Achieve Sales Objectives – We will be looking to you and your can-do, go-getter attitude, to achieve sales objectives by winning with key customers, maximizing revenue through account penetration and promotional execution.  You’ll leverage the features, advantages and benefits of the full line of Kellogg products as they relate to assigned customers, market segments, and/or channels to meet profit and volume goals. 

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 

Required:

 

  • Frequently demonstrated experience in sales and sales management
  • Strong analytical, high level of results orientation, leadership, time management and communication skills
  • Ability to understand market dynamics, forecast results, and analyze and interpret data
  • Solid analytical abilities, high level of results orientation, leadership and time management
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office applications
  • Valid driver’s license

 

Bonus Points:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience calling on / selling to large regional accounts
  • Knowledge of IRI, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce
  • Foodservice industry experience

 

WHAT’S NEXT

 

The ideal candidate must be located in the Chicagoland area.  There may be flexibility for individuals in the Dallas/Fort Worth Market.   

 

  • A flexible work schedule and the ability to travel up to 70% of the time but will vary depending on location of residency. 
  • This position provides participation in the Kellogg Auto Reimbursement program for individuals driving at least 5,000 business miles annually.
