Title:  Data Operations Specialist- Project based

Description: 

Responsible for ensuring operational excellence as part of DFID Project (Data Fueled Insights Driven), by executing data clean-up activities as per project timeline and requirements.

 

 

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

  • Ensures he/she performs a timely, full and correct data cleansing activity over the full lifecycle (data creation to retirement/end of life) to support the enterprise across its functions
  • Updates data elements in planning systems (e.g. SAP and other supported supply systems / tools in use)
  • Resolves master data issues and focus on continuous improvement to adapt processes for new business needs, as part of the project
  • Is able to effectively and efficiently communicate around project deadlines and activities within and outside of the team, escalating any upcoming risks to project delivery to his immediate manager

 

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 

  • University Degree or equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or related field (Required);
  • Language Skills: English (Required); Second Language (Preferred)
  • Significant experience working in a data driven process or service centre environment, with time pressure and priorities to be balanced
  • Significant expertise in data management
  • High proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP/ APO / BW), Microsoft Office and master data management tools
