The Business Unit Emerging Channels (EMC) Benelux is in charge of all business outside traditional retail operated in The Netherlands/Belgium and Luxemburg. More in detail, the responsible channels for EMC are: Low end Retail, Discounters, Travel, E-commerce, Out of Home and Non Food Retail.

Emerging Channels is the growth engine of Kellogg’s Benelux with its fast-developing business. We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Account Manager to make a difference at Kellogg’s. The Account Manager lies within the Benelux organization. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into the SR Key Account Manager Emerging Channels Netherlands. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal stakeholders. The delivery of challenging sales goals will be your primary responsibility. You will also be in charge of constantly looking for improvement activities within your area of responsibility.

In brief, you will be responsible for:

•                Managing the P&L and the relation of your own national customers

•                Preparing and leading the negotiations with your customers for the yearly joint business plans (listings, pricing, investment, activation, etc.)

•                Maintaining regular meetings for data exchange with customers (e.g. verification of turnover, stock, market shares reports)

Responsible for achieving the sales target, preparing the customer’s forecast and ensuring sales commitment are met

•                Find new sales opportunities  

•                Support your manager with the top clients

•                Working cross-functionally with marketing, category management and revenue growth management on the execution of promotional and other sell-out activities

•                Performing analysis on the area of responsibility and suggesting actions for improvement

•                Finding category approach opportunities driving the category growth



Hard Skills

  • Education: HBO/WO degree in management, marketing or economics, engineering
  • Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Sales; Experience on HQ level and Trade marketing/marketing experience is an advantage
  • Languages: excellent Dutch and English skills
