Title:  Director, GBS Business Development and Process Integration

Are you looking for a role where you can strategically drive a global, process-oriented, end-to-end metric-driven organization?  If so, consider joining our Global Business Services (GBS) team as a Director, GBS Business Development and Process Integration.  This is a Grand Rapids, MI based opportunity and reports directly to the Kellogg North America Delivery Partner.

 

The individual in this role is responsible for developing, launching, and governing our Performance Excellence programs. This is inclusive of standard operating system principles (Kellogg Work Systems), end to end metric methodologies, and operations management of GBS Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) across our global workstream centers and third-party partners.  If you have a vision for tomorrow and a plan to get there, we want to meet you.  Now it’s up to you…

 

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

  • Continuous Improvement – Partnering with Regional and Global Delivery and Process Owners you’ll work to integrate new processes into GBS and ensure that continuous improvement initiatives are in place to deliver business value.  Your change management skills will be of great value here!
  • Performance Management - You’ll be driving the development, governance, and reporting of GBS annual objectives and goals, including budget management, KPI and SLA results, end-to-end process management, and PSAT and customer experience results, providing GBS updates to senior and executive level leadership
  • Relationship Management – As a partner regionally and globally, relationship building is key as you’ll promote a customer-centric culture serving as a consultant to internal and external customers, striving to exceed customers’ needs, requirements, and expectations
  • Establish Best Practices - Providing an external perspective on shared service providers, trends, and technologies in the industry will be welcomed in this role

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 

Required:

  • 5-10 years’ experience with broad managerial, functional service/project experience, or outsourcing management experience
  • Experience in leading large multifunctional teams in a matrixed reporting environment
  • Supervised managers of multifunctional or global teams reporting to him/her in the past and ideally worked in an operations environment
  • Experience working for a multinational organization where s/he would have worked with colleagues internationally
  • Experience working in a shared service and/or process-driven environment is required
  • Ability to look cross functionally and weigh competing ideas and priorities
  • Ability to influence overall business results while managing the risk profile of the business
  • Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead and sustain changes
