Grow with us as a Quality & Food Safety Manager - PLANTA LINARES; in this position you will ensure the implementation and administration of prerequisite programs and quality controls throughout the supply chain to guarantee a safe product, within the company's quality standards.



In this role, you will be part of our success by:


1.- Leading and managing the Quality programs: PES, HACCP, Process Control, BPM, Traceability and Consumer Complaints.

2.-Leading and administrer the SQF certification.

3.-Supervising the food quality and technology staff.

4.-Being responsible for the laboratories for the analysis of raw materials, analysis of processes and finished products, and water analysis.

5.-Providing support to production supervisors ensuring stable and efficient process curves that guarantee a product within specifications and required attributes.

6.-Promoting and ensuring the use and application of good manufacturing practices among Associates, Supervisors, Managers, Contractors and Visitors.

7.-Developing and promoting optimal cleaning and sanitation procedures.

8.-Training staff in Quality and Safety programs (HACCP and prerequisite programs).

9.-Leading the documentation and registration of finished product evaluations, as well as analyzing behavior patterns.

10.-Maintaining external evaluation channels for both Health and Finished Product.

11.-Participating in updating and modifying internal and external regulations related to the Quality of our products and services.

12.-Leading the administration of specifications to ensure the quality of raw materials.

13.-Developing and maintains the communication of quality indicators in the plant.

14.-Facilitating the participation of partners in quality improvements.

15.-Registers and facilitates the quality information required by the client.

16.-Receiving and responding to internal and external Health / Food Safety audits, as well as regulatory entities.

17.-Training staff in operating procedures according to parameters and process curves.

18.-Managing the information of formulations and process.

19.-Developing and implementing of new products, as well as supplying the quality manual for each new product.

20.-Supporting production staff in solving process and / or quality control problems.

21.-It also adapts processes and formulations to quality deviations of raw materials authorized by the client.

22.-Participating in the planning of tests for the launch of new products and / or presentations.

23.-Maintaining direct contact with suppliers of raw materials and packaging materials to keep track of the quality standard in each of them.

24.-Auditing the sanitary level of the plant, as well as the quality parameters.

25.-Investigating and responding to complaints received via systems.

26.-Reviewing compliance with regulatory requirements.

27.-Supporting for the implementation of computer systems for quality control systems.

28.-Responsible for the administration and generation of quality and safety procedures.

29.-Defining the final disposal of products and raw materials with quality deviations aligned with the non-conforming product procedure.

30.-Reviewing of the service and review of contracts with quality service providers.

31.-Participating and ensuring maintaining the image of the company at the highest level through K-values.

32.-Maintaining SQF standards.

33.-Responsible for the product tracking and recall program.

34.-Member of the Crisis Management team at the Linares Plant.




As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in to be considered for this position, you must be able to meet the following requirements:


Engineer in Food, Chemical or Related

Knowledge in quality processes, sensory evaluation, health, GMP, product flow protection, HACCP

Team concept oriented, training skills




This position is available to the Referral Program with a compensation to: $500 USD
