Title:  Technical Compliance Engineer

Our colleagues in the Technical & Reliability team are looking for a new Technical Compliance Engineer.


As we’re putting our hearts and souls into the future of food we’ll be looking at you to lead Technical compliance across our manufacturing site and ensure our assets and processes comply with Kellogg standards and local legislation.

 

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING


•    Ensure assets comply with Machine guarding and functional safety requirements through our management of change process
•    Lead management of change process for asset related changes from standard
•    Maintain and update equipment specific procedures in relation to safe isolation.  Ensuring suitable isolation points are available
•    Continually review Kellogg standards and local legislation to ensure compliance of assets and processes
•    Responsible for completing machine risk assessments and recommendations.
•    Review document and monitor Engineering related risk assessments and equipment specific procedures
•    Work with the management ream to drive the implementation of Engineering related risk assessments and their controls

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 

•    (Required) Possess a recognised Health and Safety qualification: IOSH or NEBOSH.
•    Educated to Degree level or equivalent in engineering related discipline
•    Experience within a similar engineering/manufacturing/FMCG environment
•    (Preferably) A good understanding of relevant UK HSE legislation: PUWER, LOLER, PSSR, DSEAR.
•    Good organisational skills with ability to plan, execute and respond to changing priorities
•    Able to communicate at all levels with the plant and external environment, with the ability to influence internal stakeholders
•    Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft applications, ability to recognise and interpret engineering drawings
