Category Management Team – Senior Category Manager

Lead our team in this exciting opportunity and you will be managing and developing the long term category strategy and executing short term category objectives across the landscape for a category leading business unit. 




  • Lead the Category Management process, working cross functionally across customer and category teams to increase category sales and achieve Kellogg customer business targets (Distribution / Value Sales / Display).  Lead Category for a key strategic priority customer.
  • Lead in the development of retailer/channel category strategy & specific sell in stories, working in collaboration with Kelloggs Commercial, RGM & Brand activation teams where relevant.
  • Working with relevant insight agencies to create, deploy and execute insight led category strategies to grow Category and Kellogg's (Dunnhumby/Nectar360/RL/IRI/Kantar).
  • Line management of category manager roles & a lead position in the team to create a results driven, passionate culture embracing our ethos of being Bold, Connected and being Curious and sharing best practice across the team to encourage constant learning.
  • Lead and execute differentiated customer strategies focused on mission and occasions, delivering channel relevant ranging, segmentation, flow, brand blocking and multi location product sitings.
  • Lead internal and external Customer/Channel category reporting to drive business insight & action with a specific focus on sales fundamentals – performance, distribution, display, price, mix. 
  • Provide customer feedback & insight into Kellogg's processes resulting in better understanding, strategy development and right ranging for the Market
  • Manage and lead the category range portfolio through Look of Success within customer channels to drive category and Kellogg's sales with specific targets on NPD and Hero sku distribution and tail management.
  • Identify and own the customer contact matrix and develop best in class category relationships across customers to unlock category growth opportunities.




  • FMCG Category Management experience, customer facing with experience of Top 6 multinationals
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to translate data into insight – knowledge of retailer systems an advantage
  • Excellent communication, presentation & influencing skills with a proven record of delivery
