Title:  HR Business Partner

Description: 

An amazing opportunity to join our team as a HR Business Partner, based at our fabulous Manchester Trafford Plant!  Your responsibilities will include providing support to the HR Manager within the plant, with the development and implementation of HR strategies and programs in support of the required plant strategy.

 

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing!

 

  • Partnering with business leaders and creating credible relationships with business leaders and people managers to understand any business issues, assessing potential HR requirements and implementing appropriate solutions to address these.  You will also partner with the business closely to lead the delivery of pro-active and innovative HR programs in the required plant, including executing SC key projects.
  • Collaborate across Centres of Excellence (COE); central functions and the Plant Manager to design and implement strategic programs within the plant
  • Contribute to designing local training activities and talent management strategies and support implementations of those strategies in the required plant
  • Support Employee relations cases, as well as ongoing consultation and relationship with local works councils and employee representative groups
  • Support compensation planning processes across the plant, General support to HRM including audit support for ISO /MQFS and 1st stage payroll sign off
  • Support the delivery of HR initiatives such as Talent Management, Performance Management Process, career succession and management, managing recruiting exceptions and supporting job fairs in plant areas
  • Provide business unit and local market related expertise and input to other HR colleagues across Europe as required
  • Drive Leadership Effectiveness, Talent Management (non manager levels) and People Capability at the Plant.  Lead Employee engagement and Inclusion & Diversity projects as part of local People COE

 

Your recipe for success!

 

  • CIPD certification required
  • Experience of working within a Manufacturing Plant, with a focus on HR program delivery
  • Good working knowledge of domestic employment law and HR best practice
  • Flexible, problem solving approach, strategic thinker and strong team player       
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
