Title:  Analyst, Space Management


As an Analyst, Space Management, you will support our Target Business.  Using your solid understanding of the shopper you will help us to execute category and shelving strategies in alignment with Kellogg and our customers’ priorities.  Because consumers are at the heart of everything we create, you will develop innovative retailer solutions based on consumer and shopper insights to drive Kellogg USA goals and objectives.  And, not to mention, you’ll be joining a fun team! 




  • Lead Perfect Shelf Initiatives – In this role, you’ll provide recommended planogram placement of new items and Perfect Shelf initiatives utilizing JDA and insights. You will analyze and communicate planogram changes and continue to work towards best in class shelving principles.  You will be supporting the innovation process, delivering improvements in average item count to negotiated growth targets.  Our perfect shelf starts with you. 
  • Collaboration – We are looking to you to work closely with Target buyers and our internal teams. 
  • Analysis and Insights – With a good eye, you will analyze sales data and deliver regular briefings.  You will uncover business insights and sales opportunities that will accelerate category growth, support analytical ad-hoc data deep-dive requests, and monitor competitive activity, recommending solutions to grow the category and Kellogg’s business.

  • CPG industry related experience
  • Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Space Management Program experience with JDA
  • AC Nielsen/IRI or Panel experience
  • Motor vehicle history with 2 or less moving violations within the last 36 months
  • Experience with Target’s internal systems (i.e. Merch IQ, Greenfield, & DOMO) preferred
