IT Operations Lead Analyst – Infrastructure, Patch & Vulnerability Management


As an IT Operations Lead Analyst – Integrated Delivery Services Infrastructure - Patch & Vulnerability Management. This critical role will assist with the support, maintenance and improvement of the Kellogg Infrastructure that includes server, network, database, storage, backup and Data Center globally. You will be working with the broader IT organization to align the infrastructure initiatives across multiple groups, stakeholders and regions.

  • Tracking and monitoring of IT Services usage, KPIs, SLAs and other quality metrics to ensure in scope infrastructure and network services compliancy.
  • Work with business to eliminate/minimize any impact of infrastructure operations including planned maintenance, restoring services, project implementations.
  • Partner with Security team, EUC team and 3rd party vendors to ensure patching compliance in all infrastructure & workplace areas, including reporting and handling any exception processes.
  • Partner with Design & Delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition of projects for support purposes.
  • Identifying infrastructure improvements and updates opportunities by working with cross functional teams to keep our IT solutions relevant to the business.
  • Leading critical incidents calls and directing SMEs to drive resolution with urgency, involving vendors, escalating as needed and communicating to leadership.
  • Provide IT Audit reports and perform/coordinate remediation actions, adhering to all policies, procedures and standards (including platform security, change management, monitoring).
  • Manage 3rd party vendors, MSP’s and other IT teams to ensure the delivery of quality solutions and service.




Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Infrastructure services: Network, Storage, Backup, AWS, Unix/Linux, VMware ESX, Windows Server, Database, DataCenter.
  • Reporting, Documentation and Analytical skills.
  • Continuous Improvement Mentality.
  • Great Customer Experience focus.
  • Excellent communication skills, spanning written, verbal, and presentation areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently identify, analyze, communicate and resolve issues.
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills for building great relationships within IT, Stakeholders, vendors and customers.
  • Extensive experience managing and interacting with vendors and MSP’s.
  • Experience with patch and vulnerability management and related tools.


Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Related field.
  • Experience working in a Global IT organization.
  • Relevant Infrastructure Certifications, i.e. Aruba/Cisco, AWS, VCP, MCSE.
  • Experience working with Qualys, SCCM, WSUS.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Technologies like Office 365, Exchange, Skype, SharePoint.
  • Experience working with formal project management methodologies, ITIL, Agile.
