Title:  Senior Financial Analyst - Away from Home - Financial Planning & Analysis


As a Senior Financial Analyst at Kellogg’s you’ll be responsible for aggregating transactional data, conducting financial analyses (risk and opportunity focused) and providing recommendations at budget time to support the Away from Home Business. You will serve as a key team member on monthly business reporting and analyses, working with cross-functional partners to solve business needs and various ad hoc analyses and support.  You will assist with Period Close responsibilities with support from our Global support team. You will flex your analytical skillset and leverage your people skills to create and maintain our budget modeling based on Channel Director inputs and feedback.  You will also use your keen eye for process improvement to advise and recommend process refinements to create better efficiencies and complete our quarterly SOX testing.

  • Complex Analysis – In this role you’ll have a firm focus on performing complex analysis as well as generating models to support various business initiatives, you will evaluate actual expense at a transactional level and compare them to historical data and accruals to assess trends, provide a solid estimate for forward looking months and recommend growth opportunities. At each month close we will rely on your expertise to provide commentary regarding performance. You will be involved with the explanation of deviations between actual vs. expected results.   We’re looking for an organized, forward thinker  who has a passion for data and analytics – we want to bring out the tiger in you!

We value your insights and will look to you to provide strategic, analytical, and problem-solving support, along with presenting your findings and recommendations. 





  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance/Accounting related field and/or significant related work experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical, decision making, and communication skills
  • High level of organization skills and time management
  • Experience with SAP-specific financial planning systems is highly preferred
  • Pivots and large data manipulation ability
  • Experience with Anaplan is highly preferred
