Title:  Senior IT Architect


As the Senior Architect for Enterprise Architecture, you will be responsible for a combination of driving IT process innovation, business capability innovation, and business process innovation for Kellogg globally.  As part of these outcomes, you will look at both established partners along with new innovative solutions in the market to determine which ones could drive value for Kellogg. You will also help us challenge the status quo to embrace change which will drive higher value outcomes.  These innovation areas can be around new technology or process opportunities and may include partnering with external parties around co-development opportunities.  Our success is shaped by you!


As a member of the Enterprise Architecture team, you will also participate in reviewing all global application projects to align to Kellogg’s IT and business strategy.  You will work with all four of Kellogg’s global regions to understand their unique and common needs in order to determine how to enable the highest value and outcomes through driving global vision and enablement across innovative solutions.  Your experience and ability to drive global alignment will allow you to deliver results around where to embrace innovation and where to embrace existing platforms to drive outcomes that maximize value across the user experience, performance, operations, or cost structures. This role will be based out of any of Kellogg’s US, Mexico, England or India offices.





  • Innovation Strategy: Leads and develops the architectural direction for challenging the status quo with new technology or process-based solutions.  You will develop strategic roadmaps that shape the technology foundation.
  • Business Capability Model (BCM): Drives the use of a global Business Capability based approach to determine where innovation can drive the highest value. 
  • Research:  Leads the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends
  • Technology Expertise:  You will work with strategic partners and introduce new partners to ensure that we maximize global value while meeting the financial needs of the regions.
  • Governance: Participates in the Enterprise Architecture Governance Process





Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED and extensive related experience in the end-user services technology space
  • Demonstrated skills to apply research and industry trends to business needs in order to develop and gain alignment for strategy decisions
  • Strong knowledge in process manufacturing and logistics preferably in a consumer packaged goods company
  • Strong experience in developing and socializing business cases
  • Strong SAP experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all groups and levels; must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners or vendors in remote locations.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical aptitude, project management skills, problem-solving skills, and capability to formulate issues and recommendations clearly.
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness and priorities in a continually evolving, time-sensitive environment
  • Ability to leverage organization influence and exercise leadership through others
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills
  • Extensive experience working in a global organization and aligning global needs



Bonus Points:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience in cyber security
  • Experience with a broad spectrum of other business applications, infrastructure, collaboration or end-user technology services
  • Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry
  • Experience working on large, complex projects with a proven track record of delivering results.
