FINANCE PROFESSIONAL – GLOBAL LEASING

 

This FINANCE PROFESSIONAL is the responsible to the financial analyses and reports for management and execute activities of the assigned global region processes to provide high quality services to global internal clients.

 

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  1. General Job Functions:

Perform daily financial analysis and reports, accounting and administrative activities fulfilling corporate policies according US GAAP 842. Challenge current processes to identify standardization, simplification or automation opportunities on the daily activities.

 

B. Specific Job Function: (check applicable boxes)

 Shared Services Perform analysis, reports, accounting or administrative activities fulfilling corporate policies, internal procedures; identify simplification or automation opportunities on the daily activities and processes; identify and communicate process issues and opportunities to the supervisor; execute activities related to continuous improvement projects or special information requests.

  • Upload / modification / blockade of leases into Lease Query tool.
    • To analyze contract information.
    • To analyze lease vs buy exercise.
    • Determine if according to corporate policy it is a capital or an operating lease.
    • Get the financial information related with it (Purchase Order, Non Purchase Order, Vendor, Account, Cost Center, prepayment,)
    • Taxes validation according to the region.
    • Follow up to the End Of Term (EOT) and follow the escalation process in case of being needed.
  • Visibility to the Engineering Team Leadership for capital leases.
  • Month End Close.
    • To post JE into each company codes.
    • Request evidence of posting for those regions with no SAP.
    • To assure that there is no double impact in each PnL by GLM SLB posting’s.
    • Monthly reconciliations (Lease Query vs SAP)
  • Reporting
    • Expense Reconciliation.
    • BPC Reconciliation.
    • Managepath Reconciliation.
    • TIGR Reconciliation.
    • Corporate and Contract Owners.
    • Lease Summary Report.
  • Forecast for cash flow accounts.
  • SOX / Internal and External Audit

Required Qualifications:

  • Financial Insight & Influencing – Prepares financial analyses which support business decision models
  • Business Planning & Strategy – Develops an understanding of the business elements connected to financial information.
  • Governance, Risk Management & Business Controls – Performs compliance/control testing in order to ensure that internal controls are implemented and performed as required.
  • Accounting, Reporting & Operations – Delivers accurate financial and managerial reporting. Works with others to implement accounting processes, reporting requirements and system optimization.
  • Tax, Treasury & Regulatory – Provides information to Tax and Treasury Department as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

BMinimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Accounting.
  • Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting - Related and 1 to 2 year of experience.

Must have strong PC skills with an emphasis on Excel (macros, pivot tables).

Desirable knowledge of SAP and other financial planning systems.

Must have strong analytical and communication skills and be detail-oriented.

Strong Service attitude.

  • English: Advanced written and verbal
