As the Global Fixed Assets (TEMPORARY) you will execute activities of the assigned Fixed Assets Management end-to-end Record to Report (RTR) processes, such as:
• Perform reconciliations of accounts.
• Consistently meets compliance measures and achieves service level agreements.
• Achieves quality delivery and efficiency within a strong internal control framework.
• Contributes to a team environment that is focused on high performance and operational excellence.
Researches and corrects any imbalances that might arise.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
General Job Functions:
- Execute day-to-day Fixed Assets activities.
- Execute the Fixed Assets month-end process.
- Perform reconciliation on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Support the preparation of management reporting and performance measurement
- Communicate with other Team Members and with Management on issues and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the appropriate teams to ensure all fixed assets disputes are minimized by addressing root causes of disputes raised.
- Execute and provide any Fixed Assets initiatives with the aim to simplify standardize, globalize processes, as needed.
- Provide support to the Fixed Assets Senior analyst or Process Owner.
- Forecast for cash flow accounts.
- Investigate & resolve Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss variances.
- SOX / Internal and External Audits
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Global Fixed Assets & GBS Leadership.
- Provide KPIs and operational indicators, understanding root causes.
- Identify simplification, standardization and automatization opportunities on the daily activities and processes.
- Identify and communicate process issues and opportunities to the supervisor/ team leader.
- Listens and communicates effectively within the team and all other areas involved, building a win-win networking relationship.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required Skills:
BA/BS Accounting degree.
• 2 year of relevant experience; 3+ years preferred.
• Proficient in English language (verbal & written).
• Proficiency with ERP financial modules such as SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling Modules)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel – Required; Experience with Word, PowerPoint, and Access - Preferred.
