Título:  Jr. Finance Professional - Trade Spending (Temporal- 8 meses)

Grow with us as a Jr. Trade Spending Professional - TEMPORAL, in this position you will be responsible for analyze and validate that requests related to Allowances are in compliance with Corporate Policies and Internal Controls. Perform analyses, reports for management and execute activities related to allowances in order to provide high quality services to internal clients. Supports creating alignment in the team, supervises deliverables and represents a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in projects related with the process.

 

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?


In this role, you will be part of our success by:

 

A. General Job Functions:

  • Analyze and validate that requests related to Allowances are in compliance with Corporate Policies and Internal Controls.
  • Perform analyses, reports for management and execute activities related to allowances in order to provide high quality services to internal clients.
  • Support creating alignment in the team, supervise deliverables and represents a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in projects related with the process.
  • Challenge current processes to identify standardization, simplification or automation opportunities on the daily activities.

B. Specific Job Function:

  • Analyze and validate that requests received from Customer Development team through Trade Spending Tool (TAT) to ensure these are in compliance with Corporate Policies and Internal Controls.
  • Perform analyses and reports such as reconciliations between TAT and SAP, allowances previews prior close process, close process reports and accruals follow-up, among others.
  • Support creating alignment in the team, coordinate deliverables such as SOX law requirements (Internal Control rounds, Management Representation Letter report), provide information for Internal Audits, supervise deliverables and represent a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in projects related with the process.
  • Challenge current processes to identify standardization, simplification or automation opportunities on the daily activities and express findings, knowledge and experience at different levels in the organization driving to improvement actions.

Accounting, Reporting & Operations- Delivers accurate and timely financial and managerial reporting with some supervision; Asks questions and displays intellectual curiosity in order to increase understanding of accounting fundamentals, the Kellogg business and internal processes.

Tax, Treasury & Regulatory – Provides information to Tax & Treasury Department as necessary.

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

 

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in to be considered for this position, you must be able to meet the following requirements:

 

Minimum:

Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance/Business-Related field

 

Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business-Related and 1 to 2 year of experience

Must have strong PC skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Desirable knowledge of SAP and other financial planning systems.

Must have strong analytical, leadership and communication skills and be detail and target oriented.

English: Intermediate
