RECRUITING COORDINATOR LEAD

 

The Recruiting Coordinator Lead is responsible for performing work activities included in the end-to-end Hire to Retire (HTR) process for Kellogg organization. In support of the Global Business Services objectives, this role performs many of the same accountabilities as the Recruiting Coordinator (RC) role, however, functions as a coach/mentor/manager to a small group of Recruiting Coordinators and Talent Acquisition Schedulers.

 

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Manage a group of direct reports – coaching, mentoring, feedback and setting expectations
  • Manage background check vendor relationship
  • Implement and maintain RC audit processes
  • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset by reviewing RC responsibilities and work processes
  • Lead the training efforts for all Recruiting Coordinators
  • Manage end-to-end coordinator efforts; scheduling interviews, offer approvals, offer letter execution, background checks, and onboarding
  • Super user participant and relay Super User meeting notes back to the Recruiting Coordinator team
  • Escalate any issues or compliance outages to manager
  • Ensure compliance to Kellogg recruitment and placement policies, systems and procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • Adaptability, flexibility and tailoring communication style to the candidates/direct report needs
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to think critically and independently
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Customer service expertise
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint an ability to learn additional programs as needed
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of previous recruiting coordinator experience including scheduling and candidate management  
  • Proven skills utilizing SuccessFactors or other ATS systems 
  • Experience working to service level agreements in a customer driven environment
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with high levels of confidential information
  • Team player mindset and the ability to support multiple recruiters at one time

  • Preferred Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Basic understanding of HR concepts, policies and procedures, and administrative procedures
  • People management skills and/or experience
