Supply Chain & Commercial Finance GBS Sr. Specialist
Is self-directing and ensure that the financial and administrative Complex process within GBS are performed according to Kellogg Corporate Policies, SLA and Statutory Requirements, is responsible for coaching of less-experienced GBS Finance Professionals, have ownership of a substantial processes, provide guidelines in accounting and administrative process and corporate policies, analysis and reporting related with SCH processes and works closely with Finance plant controller and Finance SCH manager in KLA to deliver expected results.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Solve critical and complex SCH processes and service delivery issues; Generate proposals for issues solving.
Provide guidelines in accounting and administrative process and corporate policies; focusing on the fulfillment of key controls, corporate policies, internal procedures, statutory requirements, and provide financial education to the organization.
Coordinate a team and deliver the results through them, balancing workloads within the team to achieve the results in a timely manner.
Spread knowledge and promote best-practice sharing across the team; Coach team members, provide feedback, promote teamwork, create and environment which fosters professional growth and challenge individuals to develop their capabilities.
Standardize and improve the service delivered to all KLA operations within his/her span of control, promoting process simplification and automation, managing process scorecard in a continuous improvement context.
Coordinate End to End COGS processes, such as: Budget, ICPs Outlooks, Month end close, savings, reporting, analysis, etc.
Indentify and communicate Risks and Opportunities.
Coordinate projects or special information requests.

D. Technical Competencies:
SCH Financial Insight & Influencing
COGS budget experience at least 3 years
Plants performance knowledge and Costing Experience
SCH Financial Analysis, Planning & Reporting –
SAP knowledge, preferable on SCH transactions
Excel proficiency
Governance, Risk Management & Business Controls –Proactively identifies and shares knowledge about relevant risks for assigned area, ensuring that frameworks/approaches are adequately designed, resourced and implemented to mitigate exposure to relevant risks; Reviews financial, managerial, and operating information to ensure accuracy and timeliness for SCH area; Implements quality and continuous improvement in the SCH´s control processes.
SCH Accounting, Reporting & Operations –Supports the explanation of the business drivers behind the financial performance; Monitors departmental performance in order to ensure efficient service delivery and accuracy; Asks questions and displays intellectual curiosity in order to increase the end to end SCH understanding of accounting fundamentals, the Kellogg business and internal processes.
Tax, Treasury & Regulatory – Provides and receives information from Tax & Treasury Department as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance/Business-Related field + 6 or more years of related work experience.
- Must have strong PC skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Proficient knowledge of SAP and other financial planning systems is required.
- Must have strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills and be detail-oriented.
- Must have good leadership skills.
- Lead larger teams.
