HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

  • Business Analytics – Utilizing your resources will be imperative to your success as you proactively track, analyze, and make strategic and tactical recommendations around program results and forecasts.  You will provide analysis and suggestions on opportunities to improve forecast accuracy while driving reliability in Gross Sales Volume, Net Sales Volume, and Sales Contribution Margin for the businesses you support.  This will be achieved based on analysis of promotion, spending, and volume (forecasts and actuals).
  • Planning Process – Leveraging Revenue Growth Management (RGM) principles you will help to manage the annual planning process and ongoing plan maintenance with a focus on delivering Business Unit and Customer objectives.  You will provide ongoing analysis and suggestions to improve forecast accuracy, proactively providing direction on opportunities for improvement through utilizing TPM, Walmart Supply Plan, Retail Link, and other data sources. 
  • Account Collaboration Partnering with Account Executives, Supply Chain, Finance, and other cross-functional contacts across various Categories both locally and at Headquarters, you will fully leverage the Sales Planning initiatives.  Together, you will work collaboratively to forecast base and incremental volume, appropriate trade rates, and avoid/minimize price discrepancies. 
  • Data Champion In this role you are responsible for the team’s data integrity.  You will act as the team expert on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Trade Promotion Management (TPM) Tools while providing Ad-hoc financial and data analysis, including pre/post event analysis.

Required:

 

  • Related analytical experience with a strong preference for previous sales, revenue growth management, and / or business planning experience. 
  • Firm understanding of promotional methodology and management
  • Proven ability to communicate complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints
  • Advanced Excel expertise and proven efficiency working in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
