Title:  QA Technician - Night Shift

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Making things Happen – Coordinating daily management food reviews, and coordinating shipment of product for corporate food reviews
  • Checking it all out – Performing hourly testing, recording moisture levels, Inputting Production Evaluation System, Managing FSMA compliance, Kellogg Food Safety Plan compliance, Updating the quality manual, Review daily production paperwork, and QAR results 
  • Setting the Pace – Assisting with plant self-inspection program, audits, product traceability exercises and maintaining the Master Sanitation Schedule
  • Always Accountable – Generating and performing environmental swabbing and monitoring batter temperatures and recommending equipment cleaning frequencies Maintaining and monitoring company deviation/hold program
  • Recording the trends – Maintaining numerous spreadsheets to track product quality trending
  • Connecting – Administering quality record management program and hanging out with the cool kids in a collaborative team environment

 

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 

Required:                            

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Physically must be able to stand for long hours and be able to lift at or above the waist at a maximum of fifty pounds
  • This role will be on a 12-hour night shift 2-2-3 schedule

 

Bonus Points:

  • Degree in Microbiology or a related field
  • Quality/Food Safety manufacturing experience
  • Union experience
