We are seeking a dynamic and creative communications & multi-media professional to join us for a 12 month contract.  The successful candidate will support our IT / Strategy & Insights teams as they seek to tell the story of how we will become an insights driven organisation.

 

They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced team and have lots of practical communications experience and a portfolio to demonstrate same. 

The location for the role is flexible, with an expectation that the successful candidate will spend some time in our office at Dublin Airport Central and some time working from home. The role is currently vacant so we are particularly interested in those that can start with us immediately / in the very near term.  

 

 

 

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

Big data and the insights it provides, are key for the future of Kellogg Europe.   Our business is on an exciting journey to become a fully insights driven organisation by 2025.

 

Partnering with our I.T and Strategy & Insights teams, the role holder will craft and evolve a data and insights master story and suite of engaging campaigns that:

  • Disrupt current perceptions and drive reappraisal of the importance of our data work
  • Increase share of voice
  • Make data, analytics & insights interesting and compelling and inspires others to take action 
  • Serve as communications counsel for a variety of I.T & Strategy & Insights stakeholders, helping them to diagnose communication needs and then partner with them to co-create communication strategy and plans
  • Develop a compelling data, analytics & insights narrative, and regular cadence of data campaigns that profile and increase the visibility of the data projects that are ongoing within the business
  • Drive the creative process and production of all communications content - scripts, presentations, video, graphics, intranet and social copy, ensuring effective application of branding and that materials are delivered to a high standard
  • Support I.T. team to create communications collateral for other priority areas such as Office 365 Shift, Future of Work / Hybrid, Meetings Room Upgrades etc.
  • Support the Strategy and Insights team to amplify the work they are doing around the strategic planning process
  • Effectively balance workload between I.T and Strategy & Insights teams such that both stakeholders are supported effectively in moments that matters
  • Keep abreast of external trends and developments in Internal Communications / I.T. and Data Storytelling spaces and bring new ideas and fresh thinking to bear on their work

 

 

 

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related field.  Minimum of 5 years of experience in progressively responsible communications roles. 
  • Previous experience supporting a I.T. / Insights / Data team in a communications capacity is preferred
  • Creative storyteller with advanced written & visual communication skills 
  • Comfortable using the Adobe Creative suite of applications, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Some video making experience preferred (Premier Pro and After Effects)
  • Big picture thinker.  Dynamic, trend setting and results focused individual who continually seeks to raise the bar in their profession
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to partner with & drive value for key stakeholders
  • Experience working in a busy communications team – can plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously
