HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

In your role as Category Executive, you will work within an energetic business team focused on driving strategic growth for Kellogg in 2022 and beyond. In this role you will be responsible for the category analysis insight & merchandising, as well as owning & developing customer category opportunities.

 

Accountabilities

 

  • Provide Category and in market reporting to identify relevant insights that drive our business performance & share the category narrative.
  • Lead & share the internal NPD, promotion, distribution and competitor tracking to aid business decisions and build category recommendations.
  • Be the expert on your category area, working cross functionally with the RGM team, marketing and commercial teams to champion ideas that drive Kellogg's and Category growth.
  • Category management responsibility for customers, supporting buyers and account managers by building compelling category recommendations to grow category sales.
  • Supporting the wider team with market and retailer insight to aid implementation of new Kellogg strategies.
  • Continuously improve & share Category Management techniques/reporting across the team to increase sales and achieve customer business targets.
  • Plan, influence and flawlessly execute range updates and range reviews in line with Kellogg's and customer objectives.
  • Manage our product portfolio with customers to deliver our Look of success to drive category and Kellogg's sales.
  • Lead and execute our merchandising strategy, focusing on translating consumer occasion led insight into relevant fixture segmentation, flow and multi-location product siting.
  • Be the voice of the customer and channel internally to ensure Kellogg strategies are delivering what is needed to win at point of purchase.

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 

Required:

 

  • Previous FMCG retail experience within Field Sales and/or Head Office
  • Ability to influence people with an external and consumer focus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills & quick to learn
  • Specific interest in category management and branded products
  • Experience of working within a team and ability to manage different priorities
  • Curiosity, drive and a desire to take data and turn it into insight

 

 Preferred:

 

  • Category Management experience
  • JDA Planogram system knowledge
  • Experience with using IRI, Kantar or Neilson and Merchandising software
  • Business related degree or equivalent

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

  • Requires travel across UK to customer approx 1 day a month
  • Flexible/hybrid working approx. 2 days in the office, but flexible alongside customer needs
  • Fantastic pension contribution where Kellogg’s will pay up to 12% pension contribution
  • Monthly share scheme where Kellogg’s will match the shares you buy each month up to a max of 3% of salary each month
