Title:  Senior Manager, Advanced Data & Analytics - E-Commerce

Description: 

The Sr. Manager of Advanced Data & Analytics provides insights and analysis to understand the effectiveness of our retailer media programs, including key digital and data-driven activities across our US brands, like Cheez-It, Pringles, Pop Tarts, and Eggo.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with our Omni & E-Commerce team, Media Operations, Experience Planning, and Insights & Analytics as well as partner with external media agencies to guide overall marketing investment decisions.

 

Data-driven media is a key priority for Kellogg.  In this role, you will be a valued part of our team by helping influence future media placement decisions – such as determining which creative, target, or partner is the most effective in driving sales and/or new buyers. You will get to work with top media agencies to influence learning agendas and measurement plans that lead to greater effectiveness of Kellogg’s media. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

  • Research – You’ll design and lead custom measurement projects based on key learning agenda areas and help guide the evolution of the digital landscape. If you've got a bit of a creative streak when it comes to staying up-to-date on the latest evolutions in the digital media space from social, retailer-specific reporting, media buying platforms to tracking and analysis tools/methodologies we'll need that to help pioneer initiatives at Kellogg!
  • Cross-Functional Partnerships – You will collaborate with teams, including creative and media teams to present digital effectiveness results, and align on implications to future media plans.  This will include integrating various supporting data to help explain digital performance: think creative diagnostics, media delivery KPI’s, consumer understanding, and historical learning. 
  • Collaborating for Success – Take what you know to partner with the broader Insights and Analytics, Integrated Marketing, and media agency teams to ensure digital tracking and effectiveness studies are integrated into the brand’s overall strategy and future media tactical plans. 
  • Project Management – Balance priorities of time, scope and cost of an effort in order to accomplish the objectives set by the business.
     

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Market Research, Advertising, Marketing, Statistics, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills & understanding of data analysis
  • To be successful, you will want to be able to effectively break down, summarize and communicate research and measurement information effectively to a variety of audiences
  • Experience utilizing digital data such as in-view, invalid traffic, and reach/frequency data, collected through DCM, comScore, MOAT, Nielsen, etc.
  • Experience utilizing syndicated, e-commerce, and/or retailer data sources, i.e. Nielsen, IRI, 84.51, etc.
  • Understanding of digital media (display, social, OLV, and/or CTV/OTT) buying, including how digital media is purchased, trafficked, activated, & tracked.
  • Experience measuring effectiveness of media, including TV, digital (display, OLV, social), and CTV/OTT

 

Bonus Points:

  • MBA or master’s degree in marketing, business management, or a related field
  • Previous experience with multi-category brands
