Title:  Senior Supply Chain Analyst - Foreign Trade


As a Senior Supply Chain Analyst – Foreign Trade you will engage with all Kellogg Company business units to coordinate and provide operational support for various types of import shipments from international regions/countries and foreign co-manufacturing locations. You will support all global import projects and ensure import shipments are managed in compliance with U.S. Customs Border Protection (CBP) Regulations, FDA/USDA regulations, and the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Regulations. As well as provide direction for third party suppliers, enforce Kellogg’s Broker and Foreign Vendor SOP’s and audit entry documentation.




  • Process import shipments including accurate shipment documentation, timely transportation bookings, routing, marking and invoicing to ensure compliance with Foreign Trade Regulations.
  • Leverage relationship with Brokers and Freight Forwarders to ensure all documentation is executed accurately and timely.
  • Manage multiple and complex types of transportation and distribution networks to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Provide direction for 3rd party vendors (domestic and international) as it relates to government compliance, routing instructions and documentation.
  • Coordinate efforts and provides direction for Integrated Planning to ensure case fill requirements are met.
  • Resolve border crossing compliance and operational issues.
  • Responsible for overall file maintenance, accuracy, and completion according to government file retention regulations for Foreign Trade.
  • Maintain classification information and documentation in product classification database.
  • Support new product export requests by requesting, creating, and providing production registration documents, along with confirming export eligibility with regulatory, defensive patent/trademark team, etc.





  • Minimum of 2 years related experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to articulate legal requirements as well as effectively influence others.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and deliver against multiple and changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with International transportation and distribution networks
  • Experience working with diverse cultures and languages
  • High School diploma/GED with significant relevant experience



  • Associate Degree
  • U.S. Customs Broker License
