Title:  Category Shopper Manager




  • Snacks Portfolio Category & Shopper lead for Innovation
  1. Working with the brand team & Markets on Renovation & Innovation Projects to deliver research based & on time Commercial Assumptions.
  2. Deliver fact-based initiatives that build on the Portfolio strategy & building blocks with a Category & Shopper lens, within the Snacks team


  • Category Vision Snacks: Input into the overall European approach & lead integration by market engagement, ensuring all market plans and initiatives are consistent with this strategy.


  • Future Look of Success (LOS): Working with the wider C&S team on the future LOS by engaging with the relevant Markets & Insights to bring back an approach to future LOS that is connected to our Cat Vision & our 3-year plan as well as having potential for both the Retailer & Shopper.


  • AMPPS: (assortment, merchandising, price, promotion, shelf enhancement) specifically, CCAP AMPPS opportunities which focus on next 12 months. Ensure that C&S have worked with markets on producing AMPPS opportunities for CCAP that results in and delivering on these initiatives/help needed.


  • Cross Functional Impact: Work with the wider sales team to deliver an even larger impact as a team Vs as an individual. Productive connectivity also with Marketing, R&D & S&I to deliver a real impact on the 12 month and 3-year plan specifically commercially, with customer benefit and with a shopper led approach.




  • The ideal candidate should have 4+ years FMCG industry experience with minimum 2-4 years of sales or Marketing experience. Category management experience would be beneficial.
  • Preferred Master Degree in Business or related fields. Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Previous experience within market sales reporting tools like IRI/Nielsen/Kantar.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, interpersonal/communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to partner with the business and functions on International basis.
  • Financial acumen, ability to evaluate, interpret/translate financial impact, ROI and overall program performance.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with expertise in managing multiple projects through competing and conflicting priorities and deadlines.
  • Multi-cultural sensitivity and ability to lead and apply excellence in execution thinking across multiple countries and functions for the purpose of driving alignment.
  • Fluency in the English language is essential, ability to speak one or more additional European languages would be very beneficial.
  • Verbal and written communication as well as strong negotiation and influence skills towards middle management, representation of the organization, advanced tact and diplomacy.
  • Displays Courage and manages conflicting agendas through fact-based resolution of debates.
