Title:  Category Analyst - Pringles

Recently, Kellogg’s has announced globally a focus on building its snacks portfolio and intent to have it as the growth engine of the global organization. Locally across Australia and New Zealand, a dedicated business unit for Pringles and Salty Snacks has been created to be the major focus of local growth and expansion. 

As a result, this is a new position created  to support the growth agenda for the business across ANZ.  Supporting the Category Strategy Manager for Pringles to develop category insights and driving recommendations of both where and how we can play to win in salty snacks!      

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of customer & category specific deep dives and provide recommendations
  • Supporting the category management team in the management of and recommendations on portfolio, range, space, prioritization (for our Pringles and Salty Snacks portfolio)
  • Working with field, customer marketing and brand marketing teams to develop world class tools for field and customer teams for in market execution
  • Education of sales team around category understanding, promotional management, and financial acumen.
  • Ownership of the Planogram process and outputs across all customers 
  • Supporting the Category Lead and Pringles & Salty Snacks team in building and sharing a Shopper & Customer understanding based on insight and analytics across the business.
  • Supporting the Category Lead and Pringles & Salty Snacks team in delivering Range reviews and Strategic planning days with our customers
  • Support the development of trade/shopper marketing tools to drive best in class in-market execution with customer/brand marketing teams


First of all, we’re looking we’re looking for someone with BIG energy, personal drive and a passion to learn, develop and broader your career in the FMCG industry. You will work with an exciting & high profile brand within a team that is motivated & driven to achieve amazing things in this category!  With experience gained from the FMCG or Retail industries within Category, Sales, Insights or Marketing at an Analyst level or from Field Sales wanting to make the move to a more analytical role.  You will have a natural inclination to be detail focussed and analytical in nature along with excellent written & verbal communication skills.
