Reporting to the Head of Specialty Channels (P&C, Food Service, ALDI, Costco Big W and E-Commerce), you will co-develop and implement the Category srategies to drive growth and profitability with our customers across E-Commerce, P&C, Costco & Aldi. You will achieve this by working with our customers to develop joint category plans and align on key category growth objectives with internal and external stakeholders as well as present our range reviews with a varied customer base.


The accelerated growth opportunities with these customers is significant and a strategic priority for the Kellogg business to drive our channel expansion. We’re looking for someone with the drive, ambition, entrepreneurial spirit and tenacity to lead this growth agenda.    

 

You will be a part of our success via the following key responsibilities:

  • Be a key leader in the long term strategic direction as well as leading the annual planning process for Specialty Channel
  • Drive the category and strategy planning process with key customers, including externalisation of category drivers/growth opportunities in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders to support the development of strategies including ranging, space, aisle flow and display/merchandising
  • Lead category reviews for all customers with the development of trade presentations and commercial discussion to ensure optimal range and high level of incremental acceptance of NPD
  • Guide customer NPD forecasting and launch execution to ensure successful delivery of in-store innovation
  • Commercialise shopper, customer and/or consumer insights on a bi-monthly basis with our customers
  • Lead the category growth agenda for all categories within these channels.
  • Support pricing and trade promotional strategy to optimize promotional spend 

 

Skills, experience & attributes sought:

  • Ideally degree qualified in a relevant business or marketing discipline
  • Previous experience in Category Management, Sales or Account Management within FMCG industry
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills/aptitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence across internal and external stakeholders
  • Confidence in presenting data and concepts to both external and internal customers 
  • Advanced data analytics and interpretive skills with strong Excel and Powerpoint skills.
