We are currently on the look-out for an HR Advisor for our Manufacturing operation. This role forms an integral part of our ANZ HR team, working alongside a team of passionate HR professionals, committed to delivering outstanding results to all stakeholders. We take our jobs seriously but ourselves – not so much!

 

Based in Botany, our Manufacturing plant is a 24/7 operation and produces our ready-to-eat cereal range with an employee population of approximately 250 employees, from Production Operators through to Senior Supply Chain Management.  You will report to the Senior HR Manager – Supply Chain.  Working in a fast-paced environment, this role gives you the opportunity to work across both operational and strategic HR initiatives.  

 

Core responsibilities include:-

  • Partner with Operations Managers to provide operational HR support 
  • HR advice across the full employee lifecycle, including policy interpretation, performance management counsel, grievance handling and investigations
  • EBA interpretation and advice for managers 
  • Lead the recruitment activities for Production Operators    
  • Data management, reporting and people analytics
  • Delivery of training initiatives and workshop facilitation
  • Play a key role in HR and site-specific projects which includes organisational effectiveness, health & well-being, recognition and training and development of our Production Operators

 

Skills and experience sought:-

  • Tertiary qualification in HR or similar discipline
  • Previous experience as an HR Advisor, ideally within a Unionised environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organisation
  • Well organised with the ability to juggle often competing priorities
  • An excellent working knowledge of MS Office products  
  • A strong team orientation
