Our Insights, Analytics & Planning (IAP) team are an integral part of our Head Office function.  They produce fact-based consumer, shopper & category insights that help influence our strategic direction and partner with the Sales & Marketing teams to help identify and realise opportunity areas.  
 
The role of Insights Analyst is to support the team across all Kellogg’s categories to provide deeper insights into the dynamics of the business through detailed analysis and data mining across scan and panel data.

Naturally curious, the successful candidate will have the ability to draw out insights from data.  Working with an experienced team of Insights professionals, they will work with you to develop your story telling capabilities so you can curate stories that generate interest and drive action.   
 
Key responsibilities of the role include:-

  • Key analytics support, leading data analytics and mining to tell clear stories and build insights and recommendations which will drive actions to improve brand, segment, retailer and category performance 
  • Generate and analyse critical monthly business reporting, providing regular and ad-hoc reports 
  • Optimise and simplify existing reports within the business and on an ad-hoc basis with the end goal of enhancing insights resulting in action 
  • Build and maintain collaborative cross-functional relationships to ensure shared objectives are clear, communication is open and insights and recommendations provided are understood 

 
Skills, experience & attributes sought:

  • Degree qualified in Business, Statistics, Economics, Marketing or similar
  • Previous experience using IRI, Nielsen or Quantium data
  • Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, well organised and able to prioritise and manage multiple projects
