Title:  Key Account Manager - National Independent Snacks & VIC Independents

Due to an internal move, we're looking for an individual with a strong background in Account Management to manage our National Independents Snacks portfolio, as well as our VIC based independent customers, based from our Head Office in Pagewood.  Working in this channel provides the successful individual with a diverse range of clients, getting to know them and their businesses to be able to deliver creative and innovative solutions and strategies that will create win/win outcomes.  You will be targeted to achieve company volume, net sales and share objectives. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of sales and profit targets across your portfolio
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Driving sales volume, gross profit and market share
  • Develop and own the Joint Business Planning (JBP) process
  • Developing new line launch plans to ensure speed to market on new lines and ongoing success
  • Range expansion and distribution

 

We're looking for an individual who has a real passion for what they do, who can develop strong relationships, someone who can support and guide their customers to make the best decisions.  Key experiences we're looking for include: 

  • A strong career track record of success in the FMCG industry, gained from either sales or account management within Grocery
  • Previous success in delivering growth across a core customer base
  • Strong negotiation skills and computer literacy are pre-requisites (sufficient proficiency in all MS Office applications as well as SAP, BW and Nielsen modules)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong numeric skills and commercial acumen
