Title: Senior Finance Analyst - Supply Chain

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Finance, this position works will all levels of Supply Chain and Commercial management. Based at our Manufacturing plant at Botany, you will actively partner with the business to influence day-to-day decisions, shaping the strategy & direction of the business with key focus on our procurement, packaging and logistics divisions.
You will be a part of our success by:
- Providing relevant & timely financial information where required on a daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis
- Partnering with local logistics and regional procurement teams
- Analysing, maintaining & reporting on raw material and pack material variances
- Calculating and coordinating the alignment of inflation/deflation or commodities with the regional procurement team
- Provide and in-depth analysis of monthly logistics costs to management
- Budget building
- Month-end close activities
- Financial modelling and advice for ad-hoc projects
Skills, experience & attributes sought:
Business degree in Accounting or Finance, couple with either CA, CPA or CIMA qualifications
Previous experience in a commercial finance/business partnering role gained from an FMCG, Manufacturing or Import/Distribution business
Coupled with strong communication & influencing skills we’re looking for an individual with a proven track record in effectively partnering with non-finance people to assist them with their decision making. Our Manufacturing plant is a busy 24x7 operation, you will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who can balance sometimes competing priorities. An active team player who makes a contribution to improve processes and systems and share experiences across the broader Finance team.
