Title:  Support Operator (12 Months Fixed Term Contract)

Description: 

There is an exciting opportunity for a Support Operator to join the Production Team on a temporary 12 fixed term contract. The role will be responsible for operating relevant equipment in line with delivering Plant Performance.
 

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?


In your role as Support Operator you will be accountable for:

  • Being fully flexible to support plant operations to achieve operational targets.
  • Maintaining own area to ensure full compliance with all KPI metrics - Safety, Food safety, quality and delivery.
  • Ensuring improvement activities are consistently driven and executed (Safety, Food safety etc)
  • Ensuring housekeeping within areas and plant standards are continually improved to drive towards A1 /audit ready standard by adopting the “Clean as you go” philosophy.
  • Participating in the Employee Development Review process to drive self and team development.

 

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

To be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

 

Required:

  • Previous experience in a FMCG environment
  • Experience of line and shift working
  • Current valid FLT and driving license
  • Organisational, interpersonal, communication skills. This is critical for training to build team capability
  • Ability to handle and quickly learn a variety of tasks / activities and prioritise self
  • A self-starter with a “can do” attitude who is able to adapt to ever-changing situations.
