We are looking for an Activation Lead to join our team of passionate, proactive, highly motivated, and driven individuals supporting our Benelux Business.

 

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the Net Sales Value budget, market share & penetration targets for the Kellogg´s portfolio in BENELUX,  managing the end to end design, implementation and delivery of Kellogg’s Brands and portfolio initiatives in the Market generated from the central business units and also of specific Market commercial initiatives in line with Category Business Unit strategy.

  • Leading the business planning, portfolio development, activation and innovation launches of the full Kellogg’s portfolio for Belgium, Netherland, and Luxembourg. Accountable for the delivery of fully integrated commercial plans for the brands, in line with category strategy and country needs.
  • Accountable for Net Sales Value budget commitments, Market Share and Penetration targets across brands and categories  for the entire cluster.
  • Responsible for the brand growth, good knowledge & management of the P&L, influence in the BB priorities through recommendation about the ATL plan working closely with Central team and being accountable for the total BTL budget including consumer and shoppers’ activities.
  • Identify main insight, trends and innovation in order to drive alignment and influence on Category regional strategies and Innovation pipeline for the local needs and white spaces.
  • Act as Brand / Portfolio point of contact for the Business Unit. Provide timely and specific input to the central team on category strategy, media plans, Master plan, toolboxes, consumer/shopper insights and future innovations.
  • Responsible for the design, development, execution, and implementation for the brand building activities and be focus on post-evaluation and focus on ROI targets and recommendation. Lead the execution for the marketing activation plans ensuring best in class executions and on time.
  • Identify and own amplification needs of category initiative plans. Build local support plans with the Activation team that ensure we hit our brand and innovation objectives.
  • Lead deep understanding of the market category and marketing plans. Provide necessary inputs to the internal planning process for assigned brands.
  • Influence the central team on local needs and drive awareness on local results/achievements
  • Business performance: Conduct the data collection, analysis, reporting and feedback on the effectiveness of our plans, making timely recommendations on course correct plans as well as providing gap closing initiatives
  • Enable and support the commercial team to drive a winning agenda with retailers for Kellogg’s brands. Lead the Brand plans deployment and be involved and present the brand plans for our customers driving engagement and growth.
  • Constantly monitor competitors' activities across the market bringing the outside into the organization.
  • Keep focusing on people/talent development, working on a meaningful succession plan for the team.

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in the role, to be successful in this role you also have the below skills and knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Economics. Master's degree or specialization in Marketing is highly desirable. The job holder must be able to communicate effectively & fluently in English.
  • Brand management experience, familiarity with the innovation process, brand development experience to ensure familiarity with brand equity tools, communications, media mix. 6+ years of experience in FMCG sector. 
  • Experience in the brand management tools such as IRI/NIELSEN, consumer data in terms of penetration/frequency, deep understanding about the total P&L and financial acumen.
  • Forecasting skills and Learning: Disciplined approach to all activities that involves setting goals, predicting outcomes, tracking performance and drawing on learnings for the future.
  • Marketing Mix Management: Allocating resources to each element across the mix consistent with brand objectives and strategies, marketplace demands, and Kellogg financial requirements.
  • Leadership/Influencing skills: ability to lead cross-functional teams at a manager level, ability to influence across organizational boundaries and partner effectively with the Central Marketing Brand team RGM, Sales, Supply and external agencies. Coaching and managing his/her team of 1 direct report making Kellogg´s a great place to work and build a strong team.
  • High drive for results and owner's mindset, courage, risk taking and out of the box thinking
  • Mobility, we need a person who is mobile and willing to progress after a few years and relocate to different countries
